Wisdom Relationships: The Way {under/around/through/to/with/of} Wisdom}
Wisdom is a central character in our readings for Lent. We will be exploring who and what Wisdom is in relationship to God, and what our relationship to Wisdom is in turn. We realize that prepositions matter: the way of Wisdom is different from the way to/with/under/through/around wisdom. Each approach is important, and each is illuminating, and none are complete.
So, what if the kin-dom of God is only a preposition away?
One of the underlying questions is ‘if only.’ If only we had chosen more mindfully, more honestly, more faithfully, how might the Easter story have unfolded differently, and what can that tell us about how we should change our behavior now?
Each week we will explore how those choices change our relationship to the story of Lent and Easter, as well as to God, and to each other. This highlights the ways in which the open tomb is also an open question: We have not yet resolved what we have learned from the Easter story or how or even if it has changed our life choices.
