When dementia hits home!
Are we prepared, is our family prepared, is the church prepared?
Today there are almost 7 million people diagnosed with dementia, and by 2050, the number of people living with dementia is estimated to hit almost 15 million.
Let’s get prepared to minister to the needs of our community. Join this book study for seven sessions and explore how we may be able to make a difference in the lives of persons living with dementia, their caregivers, their families and friends.
This study is helpful to those of us who are currently caregivers, or training for those who might volunteer in the HEARTS ministry and those who are friends with caregivers of persons with dementia.
Join me for 7 weeks on Monday mornings or evenings beginning February 16th on ZOOM at 10 - 11;15 AM. or 7 - 8:15 PM. We will be reading and studying the book No Act of Love is Ever Wasted - The Spirituality of Caring for Persons with Dementia.
There will be seven sessions to travel this journey together. Please purchase the book and register with Rev Eileen M Daunt using the attached registration form below.
